I don't know if this is an isnult or a complimet,
...but near the end I was reminded of Keanu Reaves in - well - any movie he's ever been in (main character voice and style).
There are only 2 and honestly no more problems I can see with this movie AT ALL. Firstly, it starts off way to fast. That beginning part, although looking really cool, was the type of overly dramatic thing I'd imagine seeing after a "peace ful" introduction to characters and setting, maybe even a short one. Starting off with action is less dramatic when I don't even know what's going on (apart from the textual intro). Also - obviously - theyre sticks. This isn't even THAT much of a problem, as unless you're really good at drawing real people in a REALISTIC manner, then sticks probably leave more to the imagination then less well drawn humans.
Everything else was really good.
Voice: Really good, compared to most flash movies I've seen.
Sound: Very fitting; added to action.
Music: Excellent choices; fit with the scenes perfectly.
Graphics: Some nice use of photoshop and effects, along with the "glowing head things" to tell the character types apart. Technically lacking, but you hid it well.
Graphic effects: Rain, blood, shakey-screen, all the movement effects; very good.
Introduction: Oddy very simple and UN-dramatic, compared to the rest of the movie. It was just simple text that changed sides. Even a simple mask effect with maybe flames/a city/whatever behind it would have increased the visual appeal dramatically.
Title: I just noticed, it's not really original, and thus doesn't stand out from other random stick movies or whatever.
Conclusion: Excellent movie. I wish I could do voices / action scenes that well. You really only have to work on the presentaion .. wait, the presentation DURING the movie was excellent. Ok, work in the "introduction" type presentation - and maybe graphics. Good work.
PS: I only leave absurdly long reviews for very good or very bad movies.
